Nassau county clerks office is only good if you need to get land information. If you need to do any filings or recordings be prepared. They charge an arm and a leg for everything. It makes living in Nassau county difficult if you plan to do any construction to your home. My suggestion is to buy a house that you plan to never do work to because the fees you pay will be in some cases more money than the renovation.
I wouldn’t say it’s the most consumer friendly, but it’s not like our tax money funds it. Oh wait...it does.
First government institute where lines are short, place is clean and people are friendly & helpful. It's better than the rude experience you get in the city. Thank you!
